Balls to the Tor

Is this what it's like living in Sheffield? Yesterday was the best conditions I've ever experienced at the Tor. That exeprience is actually limited to about 5/6 visits, but that's not the fuckin point. Today I woke up (late) excited to get involved with some tiny limestone crimps, but its not to be. Wetter than an otters pocket, as they say.

Yesterday I had a successful climb managing to do that thing on the undercuts (near pinches wall) and link powerband to the last move. I realised that I need to try the last move in isolation as my finger hurt too much after working the traverse. Its strange how the holds on this feel massive, but have the propencity to cause me so much pain.

AMAZING, just did a search for a picture of powerband to get me psyched (yes Tyler that is how it's spelt) and found this!

I wonder if we can get hold of any Japanese bouldering video and do a tour...............it would probably see us injured trying to mono on some heinous Dai problem thats V1000

This is a picture of the lights at the Watergate club we went to in Berlin
Unfortunately you can't see any of the German models in this shot

Think I'm going to hit the wall and try some of the problems on the comp wall. Wonder when the foundry will be dry after it was a metre deep in rain?
